Defining Modern
defining modern
Modern architecture defines this coastal home that’s tucked in Del Mar, CA. The two-story glass façade with an oversized pivoting door complements the heavy texture of coral stone and metal, which boldly outline the grand entrance. Blending the interiors of this modern home with transitional elements, such as neutral washed woods and classic marble surfaces, creates a timeless warmth within the home. By combining a simple contemporary glass railing, wood detailing, and an exposed metal stringer for the stairs, the layering of contemporary elements with modern vintage styles brings an authentic and clean look. Simplicity, accented by modern transitional patterns, natural textures or bold colors, balances every space and delivers a cohesive design in this modern marvel.
